Additions to the Adult Writers' List
• Ember: A Journal of Luminous Things is a semiannual
journal of poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction for all age groups. Submissions for and by readers aged 10 to 18 are
strongly encouraged. Guidelines are here.
This is a paying market.
• Velocity (for young teens) and
Forward (for high schoolers) are
quarterly magazines published by Randall House, which
is associated with the Free Will Baptists. Although Randall House does not use freelance work for their children's
magazines, they do for these teen magazines. If you want to submit an article, fill out the information on this
site. The site is for Brink, their young adult
publication, but information submitted there will go to the necessary editor. This is a paying market.
Additions to the Young Writers' List
