Addition to the Adult Writers' List

• Soap Stone Creek Literary Journal is a brand new bi-monthly print magazine for children of all ages. The debut issue was in April. Their current needs include short stories and essays (500-1000 words), poetry (up to 20 lines), and photos (no more than 6 per submission). Submission guidelines are on their homepage. Marcella Simmons is the Editor/Publisher. This is currently a no-pay market, but you do receive contributor copies of the magazine. Rights revert to the author after publication. They accept reprints.

For a short time, you can view a pdf of the April/May issue here.

Addition to the Young Writers' List

• Soap Stone Creek Literary Journal (see above) also accepts stories and original artwork by students. See their homepage for submission guidelines.
